ANGHIARI, MONTERCHI AND SAN SEPOLCRO IN THE COLORS OF VALTIBERINA. Breakfast and departure for the picturesque Anghiari with its medieval stone houses and charming streets. You will look out from the panoramic walls dominating the valley to find the battle place between Florentines and Milanese frescoed by Leonardo. Our guide you will describe you the National Museum of Arts and Popular Traditions in the Renaissance Palazzo Taglieschi. Among paintings, sculptures and objects of terracotta, you will discover the artistic and cultural traditions of the place. In a historic teleria, with over a century of history, you will participate in a unique experience: you will see at work old carding machines that still deal with linen, hemp, cotton and rustic wool. Our excursion continues among sunflower fields, corn and olive groves that give fragrant oil with the flavor of herbs, to reach a castle known to be haunted by ghosts, where to taste an excellent dish of polenta with mushrooms, tasty meat of white Apennine beef and traditional desserts with Vinsanto. CORTONA AND CASTIGLION FIORENTINO BETWEEN ARCHEOLOGY, WINE AND CHIANINA. Breakfast and guided tour of Cortona, founded by the legendary Dardano. Ancient Etruscan, Roman and medieval town, Cortona, tells its millennial history through its architectural buildings, the paved alleys of slabs and the millenary works of art kept inside the Museum of the Academy. You will walk in a romantic atmosphere between squares and narrow streets lived by knights, poets and painters. After a typical brunch with salami, pecorino cheese, salad and wine tasting, you will set off through extraordinary landscapes to descend into the Val di Chiana. You will explore a fertile landscape full of vineyards and olive groves characterized by the "leopoldine", large farmhouses. Our itinerary will make you discover villages and countryside where to breathe pristine air, and touch, smell and savor genuine fruits. Lunch in the medieval village of Castiglion Fiorentino with a typical menu enriched with salami, pecorino cheese, chianina meat, fragrant porcini mushrooms and truffles from the Valle di Chio.
