OOLBIA, HISTORIC TESTIMONIES. Arrive at Olbia and meeting with our Tour Leader. After enjoying a welcome cocktail you will settle in the reserved rooms at the hotel. We visit the historical centre to take a first glance at the artistic testimonies on the island. We will reach the Church of San Paolo with its baroque interns and an original multi color dome. In order to discover it most ancient heart, we will go on to its seafront, to the National Archaeological Museum. Our guide will take us on an exciting journey through Nuraghe, Phoenician, Greek, Punic and Roman testimonies. We can dream of sailing an ancient Roman ship that is exposed in the museum collection of the “happy town”. Dinner and overnight stay.

COSTA SMERALDA, NECROPOLIS AND LUXURIOUS ATMOSPHERES. Breakfast and excursion to the North Eastern coast of Sardinia, between the Gulfs of Arzachena and Cugnana, the Costa Smeralda. CAPRERA AND THE MADDALENA, ON THE FOOTSTEPS OF GARIBALDI AND NELSON. After breakfast we will go on an excursion by ferry and take a dive at Cala Spalmatore to discover Santo Stefano and Caperara islands. We will find ourselves in the places where Garibaldi lived the last twenty years of his life cultivating orchards and orange groves. It is here he wanted to be buried. We enjoy some free time for a stroll in the historic centre of Maddalena where the island, according to the legend, hosted this Saint during her journey towards France. Visiting the Diocesan Museum we find confirmation of the hospital character of the people that treasure with pride the candle sticks given by Admiral Horatio Nelson to show his gratitude for the hospitality. Return to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.

OLBIA, A ROMAN FARM AND THE NURAGHE OF CASTEDDU. After breakfast we visit with our archaeological guide the excavations of the Farm de S’imbalconadu, where wine and bread were produced in Roman age. We will go on to the tomb of the Giants, the biggest in Sardinia, not far from the Nuraghe Casteddu and the Castle of Pedres, built by the Viscounts of Pisa for the control of Gallura. Lunch in a typical restaurant and departure.
