An evening gondola ride will take you on a discovery of the most charming and intimate places of the beautiful lagoon city. Through poetic accounts told by our guide, You will discover the secrets of the Venetians and be entertained by tales of legendary characters. A delightful gondola trip will take you into the mysterious world of powerful and ruthless moneylenders,” Doges” (a chief of state), writers ,musicians, refined courtesans, enlightened alchemists and blissful carnivals….and perhaps, with the moonlight, you will be charmed with the “appearance” of the fisherman who married a mermaid. Dinner at a local restaurant with fish dishes and the captivating scenery of Ponte di Rialto. Overnight at the hotel.

PICTURAL SUGGESTIONS OF SQUARES AND CHANNELS. Breakfast at the hotel and guided visit to San Marco Square. Surrounded by porticos with oriental architecture and historic cafés, Piazza San Marco is considered to be the “living room” of Venice. Starting with the Bell Tower, you will enjoy a spectacular panorama of the entire city with breathtaking views. Then, we will proceed to the Ponte dei Sospiri (the Bridge of Sighs) and the Academia Gallery to discover the masterpieces of famous masters such as, Bellini, Giorgione, Titian, Tintoretto, Veronese and Tiepolo. Stop for a long drink at Harry's Bar, which has been declared national heritage, and visit to the Venetian Ghetto, with its characteristic tower-houses. Nightfall at the Grand Canal, where the Sun sets behind the dome of Chiesa della Salute (the Church of Health). Afterwards, return to the hotel. Your evening will open in grand style, with candlelight dinner, accompanied by some of the best piano bar musicians. And if you are lucky, you might even get “kissed” by the Dea Bendata (the goddess of fortune) in the prestigious Casino, considered to be one of the most exclusive places in the world. THE LAGUNA ISLANDS IN SAILBOAT. After breakfast, your guide will take you on an exclusive excursion, on traditional venetian sailing boat, to the islands of the lagoon, surrounded by surreal atmospheres of world heritage sites. Like an ancient fisherman, you will move from the magic of Venice to the silence of the lagoon, as if you were being transported by the wind. Explore unspoiled nature and relax away from the crowds of mass tourism. You'll discover Murano, queen of age-old traditional blown glass, and Burano, famous for its lace and multicoloured houses. Afterwards, return to the hotel. In the afternoon, you could choose to meet a typical character of Venetian art OR take part in a special cooking lesson OR become a painter by learning the ancient technique of watercolor. In the Evening, dinner in a typical restaurant with great food, jazzy atmosphere and excellent wine. Overnight at the hotel. 

VENETIAN CRAFTS. After Breakfast, you can go on a stroll with a personal shopper to the best Venetian atelier of traditional papier-mâché mask, Carnival costumes, silks and velvet, fabric shoes, fine paper, furniture and chandeliers, hats and Murrina necklaces. Transfer to the airport or train station by private motorboat. End of services and the possibility to combine this tour with other stays in Italy.
